On Thursday, August 27 at 10am ET, FCN presented Hurricane Go Kit: Legal and Medical Essentials.

This symposium explored key aspects of disaster nursing, including ethical frameworks, crisis standards of care, and Florida laws related to advance care planning. Participants also examined the role of documentation in disaster preparedness and learn practical strategies to support patient autonomy during emergency situations. 

Designed for nurses across practice settings, this session provided essential knowledge to strengthen preparedness and response in disaster-prone environments.
