Nursing Education Program Survey

The Florida Center for Nursing is conducting its annual survey of nursing education programs for Academic Year 2024–2025.

This annual data collection effort gathers vital information from nursing education programs across Florida to support strategic planning and workforce development.

All Florida pre-licensure RN and PN nursing programs are required to complete the survey by Monday, October 27

Pre-licensure programs that do not comply may be subject to a $1,000 fine.

Please note: The survey is designed to identify statewide and regional trends. Information about individual programs will not be reported. All data will be aggregated, and responses will remain confidential.

How to Complete the Survey

Each nursing program in the State of Florida has a specific NCLEX code and login information, sent via email from the Florida Center for Nursing on September 3, 2025. This code and information will allow access to the FCN Nursing Education Program Survey.

Questions regarding the survey or the submission process may be directed to Rayna Letourneau, PhD, RN, executive director of the Florida Center for Nursing, at NurseEduSurvey@flcenterfornursing.org.

Statutory Requirements

Section 464.019(10), Florida Statutes, requires the Florida Center for Nursing to study the implementation of the “Nurse Practice Act” (FS Chapter 464), as it relates to the approval of nursing education programs and the production of nursing program graduates in Florida nursing education programs.

The FCN is required to evaluate (a) characteristics of program-specific data for each approved program and accredited program conducted in the state; (b) the Board of Nursing’s implementation of approval and accountability processes; and (c) assessment of program-level compliance with accreditation requirements.

This data request corresponds with FCN’s data collection efforts to meet program-specific assessment requirements.
